Member Gardens: Dove Cottage

Below are photographs of the front and back gardens of Dove Cottage. The garden was very overgrown in July 2015 and the photographs show the progress over the following months. As more progress is made, new photographs will be added. And here are some highlights. There are very few at the moment but hopefully there will be many more to come:

Programme 2016

Below is the programme of events for 2016. Meetings will take place on Tuesdays at 8pm at Ashton Hayes Primary School unless otherwise stated: 16th February – Broxton Barn Owl Group – Bernard Wright MBE 15th March – History of the Gardens at Arley Hall 1890-1990 – Judy Popley 19th April – Three Contrasting Southern Gardens – Jane Allison 17th May – Local Garden Visit and Social Evening 15th June (Wednesday) – Evening Visit to Clemley House, Duddon 19th July – Coach trip to Sefton Park and Croxteth Hall 20th September – Cottage Garden – Chris Yates 18th October – Garden Design for an Easier Life – Anne Beswick 15th November – Gardens we have Visited – Liz Weston 16th December (Friday) – Christmas Party, 7.30pm at the Village Hall – Tickets £5


Welcome to the Ashton Hayes Gardening Club website. This website has been built to bring together information which may be useful to the members of Ashton Hayes Gardening Club. It is in its very early stages and we welcome any ideas you may have to improve and expand the content.
