Evening Visit to Bluebell Cottage Garden, Dutton

We had a lovely evening at Bluebell Cottage Gardens. We had a talk and tour by Sue Beesley then we had tea and cake in the sunshine and browsed her extensive nursery, many of us came away with a number of plants. 

 

Tucked away down a quiet country lane, this rural gem is one of Cheshire’s best kept secrets.

Owned and managed by former BBC Gardener of the Year, Sue Beesley, Bluebell Cottage Gardens, nursery, wildflower meadows and bluebell woods make a perfect half day out for keen gardeners, wildlife enthusiasts, or anyone in need of a break from the whirlwind of modern life

Please meet at the gardens at 6.30pm and if anyone requires a lift please speak to a committee member

The cost of the evening is £6 payable on arrival and the format of the evening is as follows:

Brief introduction by Sue Beesley or a senior member of the garden staff

Option of guided tour/s of gardens, or senior member of staff available to identify plants and answer questions, as preferred

Unlimited individual time in gardens, nursery, wood and meadow

Hot and cold drinks, biscuits and cakes are included in the group price

Opportunity to buy plants

Facilities are available

We need to know the numbers beforehand so please let a committee member know if you wish to attend as soon as possible

Turn left onto A54. Keep left to continue on Chester Rd/A556. Turn left onto Forest Rd/A49. Continue to follow A49. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on A49 for 2.6 miles. Turn left onto Northwich Rd/A533, after 1.3 miles turn left onto Lodge Lane. Destination will be on the right.

Parking: There is plenty of free car parking available for visitors. Disabled visitors are welcome to park at the top of the track, next to the tea room
